Harry Potter Society Draw A Crowd

There were unprecedented scenes at tonight's UCC Harry Potter Society event, only their third since becoming an official UCC Society. Taking inspiration directly from the books and films, their 'Sorting Ceremony' event drew quite a crowd. The queue, beginning at the entrance to the Aula Maxima and finishing outside the Boole Library (Fishbowl), is quickly becoming a legend akin to the mummy that's somewhere on campus, with many saying that the back of the queue is somewhere in Brookfield.Asking people both in the queue and at the exit, it seems the most popular house of the night is Slytherin, though we did find at least one dyed in the wool Hufflepuff fan. And one person who wanted to be sorted into House Stark, but they admitted that they might be in the wrong queue. As much as I could write about this, pictures capture the level of excitement more than anyone could write.
Issue 2 of 2015 of the UCC Express is out today! Read it on campus or online. Want to write for us? Here's how!
