NUI Awards 2018 Open for Applications

Travelling Studentships, Post-Doctoral Fellowships and more student awards are now available from the National University of Ireland (NUI). The National University of Ireland is delighted to announce the opening of the competitions for NUI Awards 2018. Every year, NUI grants approximately €1,000,000 of research and scholarship awards to undergraduate students and graduates from UCC, UCD, Maynooth University, NUI Galway, RCSI, NCAD and their affiliate institutions.This year, NUI particularly encourages applications for the NUI Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Humanities, the NUI Dr Garret FitzGerald Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Social Sciences, and the NUI E J Phelan Fellowship for PhD candidates in any area of International Law in an NUI constituent university. In addition to this, 5 NUI Travelling Studentships will be offered to fund PhD students in the Humanities and in the Sciences who will study abroad (wholly or partly) for their doctoral degrees.NUI also recently launched a collaborative award with the Fulbright Commission in Ireland for early career academics; continues to offer scholarships and prizes for current undergraduate students in NUI institutions; and provides grants for academic publishing.
