The Blizzards To Play The Newly Renovated Cyprus Avenue

With the energetic teaser singles “Love Me Later” and “I Need A Win”, released in June and September respectively, The Blizzards have kept us waiting for their upcoming full-length album, which we can now confirm will be released in early 2019 – “It’s going to be early next year,” Niall Breslin reveals to University Express in a recent interview. “I am literally just signing off on the album now after this phone call”, reveals Niall. “It’s a long process to make a record, any band that’s made a record will tell you, it’s hard work, It’s like doing a thesis: work, work, work, then you just have to let it go, and sign off.” Playing in the newly renovated Cyprus Avenue tonight, Niall tells us just how excited they are to be back. With the exception of Indiependence in August, The Blizzards haven’t played Cork in almost 2 years! In light of this, and the fact that they will be playing in the newly renovated Cyprus Avenue, it is undoubtedly going to be a great gig.
