UCC draw city rivals for crunch Sigerson tie

UCC got a local derby for the opening round of the Sigerson Cup, as the reigning champions will face CIT in the Mardyke.UCC will be hoping to get through this round, to face the winners of the Queens – IT Sligo clash, also to be held in January. UCC will be hosting the penultimate rounds of the Cup on the weekend of February 20^th/ 21^st.The draws for the independent.ie Fitzgibbon and Sigerson Cups took place today in Croke Park, with the Fitzgibbon hurlers hoping to emerge from a what has been dubbed in some quarters ‘the group of death’.
