While I Hibernate Over the Winter…

Greetings, and in a way, goodbye for now, to all of you loyal Express readers. This is our last issue before the anticipated winter break, but we will be back better than ever in due time. We could all use a bit of a rest, and as I daydream about what our world would be like if we humans could achieve optimal form and hibernate, deadlines and exams are sneaking up. As much as I would like to burrow down and sleep for months, unfortunately, life must be faced.

There are some amazing articles in store for you, including but not limited to my own, which include an interview with our dearest community garden, and my experience playing the newest superhero game. The editors here are always working hard to bring the most crucial topics to your screens biweekly. If you see any of us wearing our Express jumpers, mint green and Irish green respectively, please do say hello! Our inboxes are also always open for submissions, and there is truthfully no better feeling than seeing your name in print.

Currently, I am on track to beat my own record for most books that I have read in a year, so the optimism is at an all-time high for that. I will report back once I obtain my goal of stepping into the rift and getting transported to the anticipated year of 2024, so do not worry! (I know you are all anxiously waiting for that treasured update.)

In other news, my procrastination has begun to cover me like a shroud, and writing this editorial is my little reprieve from the scary work looming over me. I hope I have been able to distract you for even a simple minute. So, if you will excuse me, a certain YouTube anime girl is awaiting my arrival for an intense lo-fi beats to study to session. Is it parasocial if they are fictional?
