SU Elections and Referendum Straw-poll!

As the tides of the election season toss and turn, electoral consultant Méabh Longergan has crafted a straw-poll to gauge student reactions and interactions with the upcoming SU elections, as well as the upcoming referendums.

Méabh Lonergan is an alumni of UCC's BSc Government, former Features and Opinion Editor at Motley Magazine, Photographer at University Express, and a three-time National Student Media Awards nominee. As a #UCCVotes electoral consultant for Motley Magazine in 2022, her straw poll — which was independantly verified by maths science students at Cambridge University and the University of Manchester — returned a 100 per cent correct prediction rate for all sabbatical and part-time positions. Méabh is currently a Masters student, scholar, and tutor at the School of Politics and International Relations in University College Dublin, researching youth political participation.
